A few years ago, maybe 5 years ago (?), Luis was super romantic and decided to ask our foodie friend, Andrew Kogan, for a suggestion on a restaurant to surprise me with for Valentine’s Day. We went to Buceo 95, and ever since then we go back at least once a year for some occasion. Last year we went for my birthday and I got some great pics. Not gonna share too much about everything, other than what they are, since their menu changes seasonally. But I think the descriptions and pictures will give you and idea about how delicious and amazing this place is. To be honest though, most of the items I am featuring are generally on their menu, just part of them may change to update recipe with more seasonal flavorings or items throughout the year.
The cozy tapas restaurant and bar is located at 201 W 95th St. Definitely order the sangria and pimentos de pardon no matter what. The sangria is soooooo good. It seems like they create some sort of pulp that brings it to a whole new level. I am not sure of what their secret with it is, but it’s pretty amazing.

Also items that are always on the menu that I highly suggest are the following (see captions for descriptions):

Phone them at 212-662-7010. They only take reservations for larger parties. The restaurant is open daily at 5PM and is open until midnight. They only serve locally raised, free range, organic meats.
