My Instagram Account

It’s taken a week to even be able to post this. All the cliche shit, but show love to the ones you love, because they could be gone in a flash. It all happened so quickly, too quickly 😞 I am still in disbelief. My grandma was the strongest person I’ve ever known. I haven’t been as strong as I know she’d like me to be since she passed. It is so hard to save face at work, in public, in my neighborhood, with friends. There is a huge hole in my heart. I will forever wish I could still pick up the phone and call her, and she would make me laugh. She always told you how it is. No bullshit with her, and she wouldn’t stand for bullshit either. She knew what she liked and what she didn’t like, and she didn’t hold back her opinion on either. She always wanted to help, but would never take any. She was kind, giving and just an all around really good person. I am lucky enough to happen to record one of our last conversations together. We did Hanukkah on the phone together every night this year. I will miss listening to all her stories more than anything. My aunt told me she asked me to read this poem, What I Live For, at her funeral. She lived for those who loved her, for those that knew her true. For the future in the distance, and the good that she could do. For the heaven that smiled above her, and awaited her spirit too. I haven’t felt her at all since she passed 😞 I miss you so much. Rest in peace Grandma. You too, Aunt Heather. I hope you are laughing together right now.
